Jinja City is located in the Eastern part of Uganda and is the second largest and busiest commercial city after Uganda's capital Kampala. It is about 85km from Kampala and is mostly popular for the source of the Nile.
Jinja is such an interesting and adventurous destination with lots of attractions and activities such as white-water rafting on the Nile River, boar cruise, nature walks, sightseeing among others.
Have an early morning breakfast, thereafter drive to the East, to Jinja district, along the way you will have a lot of sights to see. Have a stopover around Sezibwa Falls for a guided nature walk.
Thereafter, head to Mabira forest where you will engage in a nature walk through the forest. Here you will see a number of monkeys, different types of tree species, and birds among others. Later, proceed to Jinja passing through different sugar and tea plantations. On reaching Jinja, you’ll visit the Bujagali falls, later take a boat to the source of the Nile and also visit Samuka Island where you will have a great time viewing birds. You will then check in your hotel room for dinner and night rest.
You will have your morning breakfast head for boat cruise where you will see amazing animals such as hippos, endangered crocodiles, and bird watching among others. Afterwards you will proceed for white water rafting at the Nile River which will take about an hour up to lunch time. At 1pm you will drive back to Kampala or straight to the airport.
