Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. It is a biologically diverse rain forest with almost 400 species of plants and an estimated 459 mountain gorillas which is roughly half of the world's population.

The forest provides shelter to a further 120 mammals including several primate species like baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes and over 350 species of birds.

Location of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

DAY 01

Drive from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable forest.

You will be picked up from your hotel room or from the airport and transferred to Bwindi impenetrable national forest national park.

You will have a stopover at the equator for photography and experiment and another stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening and have dinner at Ichumbi Gorilla lodge.

DAY 02

Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest.

You will enjoy an early morning breakfast with a transfer to the park headquarter with your packed lunch for briefing by the tour guides and then proceed into the forest for the trek.

Gorilla trekking takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas. These primates roam the park freely and you can't tell where they will be heading to. On finding them, you will be allowed to have time with them for 1 hour and take picture with this calm gentle primate.

The time after trekking the gorilla can be spent on a village tour or in your hotel room as you recap about how the trekking has been.

DAY 03

Return journey to Kampala.

You will enjoy a breakfast and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch in Mbarara town, then proceed to Kampala arriving in the afternoon, drop you at your hotel in Kampala or take you direct to the airport.
